Celebrating 10+ Years of Commitment
13 members of the team, who collectively have dedicated a whopping 254 years to Banyards, got together to share a fantastic meal whilst reminiscing about their life at Banyards. They shared highlights of their time with us and this wonderful event gave us the opportunity to recognise and thank our people for their years of dedication and commitment.
It was a great celebration with an aligned appreciation of each other and reinforced the importance of us recognising those who have made a positive impact on Banyards success.
As we look forward to the future, Table 10 will continue and the invitation to the exclusive table will extend as the length of service grows and we will continue to recognise our long serving people.
Nick Till commented: “It was a great Banyards inaugural Table 10 lunch. Congratulations to all of our longer serving people. The steadfast dedication and quality work you do are the backbone of our success. We are grateful for the years of service everyone has given to Banyards and look forward to many more.”
David Cocksedge said: “Having been with Banyards for over 34 years I have had the pleasure of working with some fantastic people and none better than the current long serving people who are with us today. This was an inspiring afternoon and one where we all celebrated in our success and I look forward to the next 10 plus years with you all. Thanks to everyone involved”
Pauline Stopps said: “I think most people appreciate recognition for their hard work and loyalty, which is why the Table 10 lunch was recognition of just that from Banyards to us. Throughout my 20 years at Banyards I’ve remained committed because I genuinely enjoy both the work itself and the camaraderie amongst my colleagues.
For those of us who now primarily work from home, the lunch provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces. ‘Wild by Tart’ catered to us splendidly, offering a great menu. Once we’d eaten we were left to enjoy each other’s company, with our drinks regularly replenished.
I’m hopeful that this gathering will evolve into a cherished tradition at Banyards, with an increasing number of staff members eligible to partake in the future.”
Darren Harbor commented: “What a wonderful experience it was seeing so many of us come together to celebrate our shared commitment and long-service. Table 10 is a heartwarming reminder of the dedication that we all share. Here’s to the next 10 years and an even bigger table!”
